Ammunition Shipping
You may purchase ammunition online taking into account the following requirements which are listed below:
By purchasing ammunition on shop.ItalianFirearmsGroup.com you agree to the following:
- You must be 21 years of age at the time of purchase, and we must have a state-issued ID on file showing the same name and address as the order.
- The ammunition being purchased is legal to purchase where you reside.
- All ammunition ships Ground and Adult Signature Required. Expedited shipping or other shipping methods are not available.
- You agree to hold Italian Firearms Group and all of its affiliates harmless for any legal action stemming from your purchase.
- We DO NOT accept returns on ammunition. See Returns and Refunds Policy – Italian Firearms Group
Ammunition Restrictions
Illinois: In order to ship ammunition to Illinois, we need both of the following forms of ID on file:
- A valid copy of your FOID (Firearms Owner’s Identification Card)
- A valid copy of your driver’s license or IL State ID Card
Please scan and email copies of your documents to info@ifg-usa.com and reference your order number. The addresses on these documents must match the shipping address on the order. Once these documents are received and approved, your order will be shipped.
Applicable IL Statute: b-5) Any resident may purchase ammunition from a person outside of Illinois. Any resident purchasing ammunition outside the State of Illinois must provide the seller with a copy of his or her valid Firearm Owner’s Identification Card and either his or her Illinois driver’s license or Illinois State Identification Card prior to the shipment of the ammunition. The ammunition may be shipped only to an address on either of those 2 documents.
New Jersey: In order to ship ammunition to New Jersey, we need one of the following:
- A valid copy of your firearms purchaser identification card OR
- A valid copy of your permit to purchase a handgun OR
- A valid copy of your permit to carry a handgun.
Please scan and email copies of your documents to info@ifg-usa.com and reference your order number. The addresses on these documents must match the shipping address on the order. Once these documents are received and approved, your order will be shipped.
According to New Jersey Statutes Annotated 2C:58-3.3., we are required to obtain a copy of one of the following documents before your order can be shipped: a copy of your valid firearms purchaser identification card, a valid copy of a permit to purchase a handgun, or a valid permit to carry a handgun.
Connecticut: In order to ship ammunition to Connecticut, we need one of the following:
- Valid permit to carry a pistol or revolver
- Valid permit to sell a pistol or revolver at retail
- Valid eligibility certificate for a pistol or revolver
- Valid long gun eligibility certificate
- Valid ammunition certificate

New York: In order to ship ammunition to New York, we need the following:
- A valid copy of your dealer’s FFL

We do ship to the state of New York*, but there are restrictions. The in-person requirement of Section 50 of the New York SAFE Act states that all purchased ammunition must be shipped to a valid FFL holder OR a registered seller of ammunition. Your chosen dealer then transfers the ammunition to you after meeting the other requirements of the New York SAFE Act. This transfer may come with a fee, for which you are responsible. Once you choose an approved transferor, have them email us a copy of their FFL to info@ifg-usa.com and reference your order number.
*Keep in mind that local regulations restrict us from shipping to addresses located in New York City.
We will not ship ammunition to the following:
- Alaska
- California
- Chicago
- Hawaii
- Massachusetts
- New York (New York City, Buffalo, and Rochester)
- Washington, DC
- APO and FPO Addresses
- PO Boxes
- Outside the United States

Please keep in mind that laws and regulations regarding the sale and shipment of ammunition can change often and quickly. We do our best to stay informed about these legislation changes and keep our customers updated, but it’s always a good idea to know your local laws and restrictions.

Your shipping address MUST match at least one of the addresses on your documents.
